Mr. Funk was raised in the Pacific Northwest and grew up hiking, climbing, skiing, fishing and photographing the Cascade Mountain Range in Oregon.
Mr Funk freelanced his photographic skills to various publications...capturing images of forest fires, search and rescue missions, airplane crashes and current events.
Today, Mr. Funk specializes in photographing America's National Parks.
Mr. Funk has an extensive photographic library of images covering the entire west coast.
